Great imagery can make or break a design, whether it be a presentation, website, poster, brochure, blog post, etc. I get asked this question quite regularly so definitely worth a top-post.

Always be sure to read and follow all licensing terms for all stock photography you use. Most use some for of the Creative Commons licensing for human readable terms & conditions.
